Spring is a time when we celebrate a new
season. A time when we can finally open up the windows and freshen the room
with clean air, redecorating and rearranging. This past week the sedum
poked it’s first sign of life through the ground, the robins returned and
the only snow left is deep in the woods on the north side of the hill.
Spring is truly a splendid time of the year. With the arrival of spring comes the desire to change everything. With just a little rearranging, a fresh coat of paint and a new quilt you can turn any room into springtime casual living. Flowers always bring a smile to my face, but nothing is more satisfying than adding a new quilt to the room. |
The Fat ¼ Basket Quilt from the
Sunshine & Shadow book is a great way to clean up fabrics from your
stash. Add a few new ones from the
Berries and Blossoms collection, or order a few of our Cotton Cut-Up
collections, the

this quilt. If you don’t have a stash to add to, order our kit online this
month and receive it for 25% off the original price. That’s a $22.50
savings! You will have a new quilt in no time and clean out a few fabrics at
the same time.As spring has arrived outside, it has come indoors at the Main Street Cotton Shop. New decorating and accent gift items along with new fabrics, books and patterns. |

Treats No Tricks book is a new addition to Thimbleberries. This a
great book featuring the new
Treats No Tricks fabric collection.
Tree Farm Throw kit and
Holiday Stars kit are also new kits that are ready to ship. The
Tree Farm Throw is done in the new
Holiday Homecoming flannels, a super soft flannel that has a look and
feel of velvet. Holiday Stars is done in the new cotton collection of
Holiday Homecoming. Thimbleberries is always so terrific you won’t
want to miss out on these quilts. Mostly Tablerunners book is just that, a collection of easy to do tablerunners. Jane’s Cornerstone runner has been a big hit in our shop. In the picture, we show it in a springtime look with our wonderful classic country accessories. Check out our gift items for some unique one-of-a-kind gift items. |

The 2nd quarter of Thimbleberries Club fabrics have arrived and it amazes me how Lynette continues to make the next group “the best yet” each time. Besides the great collection of fabrics, we have a Thimbleberries Club you can join. April’s projects are done with the new 2nd quarter collection, but if you missed out on the first quarter, there is still time to take advantage of joining in the the first 3 projects. |

For a little bit of fun and whimsy, we will be adding two new fabric collections to our line within the next few weeks, Under the Big Top and All that Jazz. These are two small groups that will brighten your day and are too good to pass up. Be sure to check back later. Time for me to get started with rearranging and freshening up the shop. We have so many events coming up, we want to have it looking the best for you. Don’t forget to check out our calendar. Garden Party in Hutchinson is always a big event coming up May 1, and Stash Builder Saturday is April 10. Remember to order your stash on that Saturday. There’s still room on the Fall Favorites Top Shop Tour, but don’t wait, call for information. |
