Is there anything more welcome after a long winter than the anticipation of the first crocus and tulip pushing through the thawing ground to greet spring? As I'm writing this newsletter, I am looking out my window at the 16" of fresh snow that fell yesterday in a late winter snowstorm. Spring will just have to wait a few more weeks here, but underneath this sea of white is a spring reawakening of life and color.
