Many of you have already bought the December Days collection of fabrics and patterns. One of the staff favorites is Deck the Halls with the large prairie point border. We now stock the snowman buttons that make the wall hanging. Sometimes it's the little extra touch that makes it special. Wool kits still seem to be what people are asking for. New for the season is the collection of Pumpkin Kits, Boo and Pumpkin Patch Family. Both of these are small and can be finished in an afternoon. A new classic looking wool project is the Pomegranate & Bittersweet runner. The hand-dyed wool that is used adds a beautiful look and feel to the project. If you are like all of us at the Main Street Cotton Shop, we are always planning ahead. You might be interested in the new Thimbleberries Collection of Classic Quilts Calendar 2007. A year of Thimbleberries quilts and comforts for making weekends a way of life. Included in the calendar are two FREE quilt patterns. We have included in our Cotton Shop clearance room a collection of kits at really great prices. Check them and the fabrics out while supply lasts. In two weeks, we are hosting our 13th Annual Quilt Harvest retreat. With a lot of hard work and a super-dedicated staff, I think this will be the best ever. Every year, we change things around and make it exciting and fun - we do quilt and teach as well. Next month, I can show pictures of some of the highlights from the trunk show and Lynette's home tour. Mark your calendar (that you just bought) for next year, you won't want to miss out. Watch for our new catalog that is full of new fabrics, kits, clubs and books. The catalog will be shipped out September 15th. |
